This is the dress that V and I found after this trip. It didn't originally look like this, though. There was no puffy, asymmetrical hem; the dress went straight down to the ground like a wedding dress. Nevertheless, it was still beautiful. The pearl detail, the sweetheart neckline, the way the folds gathered into a V shape at the waist ... this was probably the first time I ever fell for a dress at first sight. 

After two weeks of alterations and fittings and re-alterations, this is the final product. Pairing it with my silver Topshop heels and red jewelry (not seen here).

As of right now, I'm at my ball partying away.
