What?! I know so fast! Technically it's been over a year now as I publish this post, however I don't think that really matters all that much. To me April will always be the month that Tia and I created this blog together, ever since then we've kept it running and I seriously could not have had a better partner to do this with.
So unfortunately T couldn't help me co-write this post since she's currently in China! (I wish we went at the same time >.<) A lucky bum is what she is, but I thought since I was taking a short break from my assignment, I'll write a post to celebrate our one year anniversary! (even though I'm a few weeks late :/ Sorry!)
V&T was born on 5th April 2012, it was an idea that T and I discussed about (possibly over a year ago before it was actually created.) Here were our first introductions from a year ago (whoa)...
I can remember our first outfit shoot so vividly, it was slightly windy and it was the very first day of school holidays. First we had prepared two outfits before heading out to this beautiful isolated beach in our neighborhood. It was from there that we started updating the blog weekly, occasionally adding some extra posts about the things happening around us and the events we got up to. However there were times where we couldn't update as much as we had wanted to and for that I apologize!
Below are some of my favourite/memorable (out of many, it's too hard to choose!) outfit/misc posts we have contributed to make this blog special. As a designer I truly believe "a picture is worth a 1000 words" ... it's worth even more sometimes :3

This site has become our little corner in the big world wide web; showcasing outfits, style, photos, fashion, lifestyle ideas, things that inspire us (our friends too! :p) and also our journey so far. Though it's only been a little over a year, I feel like T and I have grown up and experienced so much. T didn't think pursuing fashion was an option she could have taken last year, but look at her now; she's currently studying Fashion at AUT!
I came to a conclusion last year that I wanted to pursue design, but as you know there are many, many different types! All of which were equally interesting to me last year. Spatial and Graphic Design were my initial choices, but its now a brand new year and I'm doing neither of those courses, instead I've chosen Media Design. Its funny looking back at what we initially had in mind, but due to our actions and choices we make, it leads us down a different path.
It's still quite overwhelming when people tell me they read/follow our blog, T even tells me she still gets surprised at how people recognize her as the model on V&T :)
What ever happens in the future I hope this blog still keeps going, there are just so many memories on here that if it ever disappeared, a part of me would sort of disappear too.
